A song about leaving home.

~At first I wanted to make something that felt like bluegrass, because that music has always sounded earthy to me. Where I went with this doesn't sound particularly bluegrass-like to me, but I hope it feels a bit earthy, or at least reminiscent of home. I had fun when I realized I could do plucked instruments in tab format, and even use custom tuning. Guitar's in Drop D, tabbed relative to a capo for simplicity in playing, and is played here more or less following my own strumming patterns.

The banjo was picked specifically because I loved the music in Outer Wilds.

Uses Muse Sounds Guitar vol. 1 and Strings sounds.

very grounded and lovely. it feels a bit like sitting on a porch, being very curious about whats gonna happen, although with ease and peace of mind
the unresolved hanging outro really fits that scene as well

nnnnn the guitar programming is so tight and the strings are so wonderful when the drumkit kicks in... hope to hear your bluegrass someday, too!
