Well, it has a lowpass filter. Good for adding some variety to single-cycle samples. Using it either requires commands (2 bytes per different line) or instrument envelopes, which I'm using here. Those have a larger upfront cost in bytes but work out in the end.

Actual song's pretty average, just playing with the tech really.

you can also get highpass filtering by adding an unfiltered sample with a phase-inverted duplicate sample that's being lowpassed, and bandpass by filtering both the normal signal and the inverted one

Yeah, the filters are a less used feature so they may sound different or not even be implemented in other players

milkytracker is an xm-tracker, not an it-tracker
