I do not know what Folktronica is I just read the description. I used a chiptune nylon acoustic guitar, trumpets, some brass, and a square wave sound font. I used the D Dorian scale to make it sound folky. I don't know what folk music is I guess. I made something I thought sounded old. Then it became electronic.

I mean, while it is in the same key as the D Dorian scale, it just alternates between C major (ionian) and A minor (aeolian), so it's not actually a dorian tune at all ☝🤓
