The code-golfy aspect of Orca is weirdly addictive; I didn't expect to end up sinking more focus into this than SunVox and VCV, but that was what ended up happening. Also, it's just weird. I feel like I'm programming a computer built by aliens, and it's nice to be reminded that something this inventive can be made by humans (rabbits?) instead.
The render fades out. If you let the patch go for a long time (I think 6 minutes or so), the various layers will turn off in the order they came in. I'm not entirely satisfied with that, but at this point I'm a bit exhausted by this and need to get other things done.
