Yeah, the intro has that "a new day is about to start" feel. Dig the downtempo beats. The fm lead (programmed with just the right amount of vibrato from time to time) and bass at 0:43 were a welcome surprise. Then there's the NES pulse afterwards. It's addition gives the piece a wildchip/fakebit feel. The arps briefly showing up at 1:50 before going all wild in 1:53 were a nice touch. Nice ending with the nighttime sound effects in contrast to the early birds at the start. Overall, lots of enjoyable variety here!

I - iv at 1:18, that gave me da goosebumps. This music really grasps the butterfly story in the description.
