On this day in history: the infamous Morris worm infects a home computer via the Internet in Dayton, Ohio and subsequently latches on to a computer-connected NES Game Genie cartridge. Once inserted into the Nintendo console, the worm attacks the "2A03 sound card chip system" and creates the first known hybrid sound device, dubbed "SN63A07" by computer scientists.
