Faced with heavy opposition, our hero brings forth a horde of monsters of all shapes and sizes to topple his foes! A colleague and I are going to develop a card-based monster battle game for the iPad, and this is going to be the main battle theme.

This is a great orchestrated feel and VRC6 was an amazing choice. I don't really see it being a proper battle theme, however. It would make a great opener or opening sequence song. But this is top notch!

Thank you. You have made this... what am I... level 0... n00b? Huh. Well, you've made me happy. As for it being a battle theme, I was thinking it would work as such in the tradition of games like Final Fantasy Tactics, which has several battle themes, and they're not all driving and pulse-pounding all the time. But the truth is that I started writing it as a title theme, not as a battle theme, and maybe I'll end up changing my mind again.

I can seriously hear the Tactics (Both in a Orge and FF maner) influences in this, which is great. Not allot of original NSFs have that!

Well arranged! I wonder what other goodies you have in store for us in that game!

Nice use of DPCM. While the samples aren't that good quality-wise, they blend into the song so well that they sound real.

iPad, pssh... =P

Thank you for your kind words. I was quite pleased with how the samples turned out. I wanted to make the crash cymbal a sample too, but I couldn't figure out how not to make it sound like dog turds, and I suspect that it cannot be done.

Also, hey, man, like it or not, the iPad's going to be a force to be reckoned with. An inexpensive game developed for it, particularly one that is available shortly after its release, could make its developer(s) a decent little wage.

Huge chords and dynamics, and good white=noise percussion, and are those timpani samples? Very awesome.

Special thanks to tadpole, six years late, for suggesting that I enter this song in WC V after I posted it to the FT forums, thereby bringing me to the BotB fold.
