whew, a very dynamic composition, reaches pretty far out there. way cool

your choices of sounds are quite evocative of your inspirations, it's like peeking into an alternate universe

Nard has composed one of my favorite of a major competition once again!

This song moves and grooves in various musical senses, personally the progressive quality pulls me in.

And it's as if he knows exactly when we will subconsciously want a specific timbre or snappiness to a tone or percussion after going a while without it. When it comes it's usually accompanied by a modulation/transition to a new section. That or the entire sound is new and special, the kind that invokes "WOAH." The level of balance and control amidst unpredictable sweet grooviness. The master.

@Lotepamera
Heh heh! I LOVE this comment! I’m not sure if I know everything I’m doing, but I just try to roll with the best idea in my head!
I don’t know if anyone else does this, but I tend to compose in “chronological order” if that makes any sense. It’s like, I don’t work on the next section of a song until I’m COMPLETELY done with the previous one. Maybe that answers your query about “knowing exactly when to change things up” idk.
Sometimes it’s my best friend, other times it’s my detriment.
So glad you liked it! Congrats on 2 overall!! So impressive!
