Here's a roguelike mock-up! Inspired by the curses interface for Nethack, and also Dwarf Fortress. Tried adding line of sight, but it was really tricky given how few colors you have to work with.. Hopefully this doesn't cause too much eyestrain to look at! D:

Really creative idea for ANSI, and a perfect fit. I'm very curious about how the moon phase might affect gameplay! And the status bars are fun. Agree on the live reaction as well. With all the little details throughout, you get an immediate sense that this quirky game was written by a passionate dev, which would be very fitting for the inspiration source. Very well done
