it does kinda weird me out that LGPT copied LSDJ's "only 256 patterns" schtick even though it lacks the memory limitations that brought that about on the gameboy. there seems to me like nothing stopping them from doing FFF or even FFFF available patterns, i mean they already have the control scheme set up for navigating 4-digit values for the effects
