i love that little descending phrase used to transition back around a minute in. that other non-YM chip is a sampler, i guess? i'm curious about its capabilities, i like the crunchy samples

Yeah, the K007232 is a 2-channel PCM chip by Konami for their arcade games from the mid to late 80's. It's a barebones PCM chip, tbh.
