Here lies the travel log of the vanished crew of the H.M.S. Intrepid, sent by her majesty on a doomed expedition to the north. It is unknown what fate beset the ship or her crew. A number of footprints in the snow leading to a glacier, the ashes of a single campfire, an unidentifiable scrap of fur, and this log with its ominous and abrupt final entry were all that remained as signs of life when the rescue party arrived. No bodies or ship debris have been recovered to this day.
