I recently stumbled upon a sort of resurgence movement online for Frutiger Aero. It's essentially the UI design style that was made popular with Windows XP and Vista.
I had this idea rattling around in my head of the Microsoft Messenger guy grinding a skateboard on the Bliss hill for a while now and never got an excuse to make it. Now I have one! :)
Plus I got a chance to remember those weird Oakley over-the-top glasses that were popular for a minute. Still think those things look cool...

@85 This style was actually used by Windows XP in 2001 as well! It was less glossy and more matte, but still the same basic aesthetic.
