Part 2 of my ASM misadventures! ^o^ Enjoy a....hello world demo. ;) 16K of expansion RAM is required, just like victracker! :P (although that's due to laziness on my side)

I don't know what caused the phasing on the lead, but it's probably me abusing a high refresh rate to extend the VIC's range of notes that are (somewhat) in tune.

A universal XM/IT converter would be a lot of work... And since the VIC isn't a popular sound chip not many people will use it, so I'm not sure it's worth the effort. ;) Also cce already wrote a MOD->VIC converter...

The engine is written in pure ASM. The music data isn't. :P

I could try to make an xm converter if you post the source somewhere, and the data layout isn't too messy. On the other hand maybe I better wait till you implement viznut waves ;)
ed: Just realized the source was already posted. Guess I wasn't very awake last night anymore :p Ok, I'll look into making a converter when I find some free time, then.

I also made a converter of my own, but it comes without any manual or warranty :P (and it requires python 2)
