This certainly isn't a bedazzling tech demo by any stretch of the imagination - I feel like I should be trading in those Codist points for some Writist ones - but hopefully it's a reasonably-entertaining CYOA.

The bitpack's instructions to create something "telling the story" (as opposed to, for instance, something "based around the story") and the 24-hour time limit make IF the obvious choice, and thankfully Twine exists to make everything a breeze. Well, aside from the fact that Home/End navigation during text entry goes to start/end of paragraph, rather than start/end of displayed line.

Honestly, the bulk of the challenge here was finding enough contrivances to even come close to the Home Alone climax. "Old movie, but [record needle scratch] with modern conveniences!!" can be a bit tiresome, perhaps, but it's hard to ignore the pocket-sized elephant in the room with the gorilla glass screen.
