if you put me at gunpoint and said "give improvements or die", i'd say that the text is a bit thin but thats a nitpick, and no one cares 'bout those

@Sloopygoop: I can tell you some of it, but I don't remember it all 😖. Since this wasn't a pure pixel art competition, I did some wiring of the image--the trees were cutouts from real trees that were rearranged and copied/pasted. Then I added shadows and stuff (still as a full color image).

Once I was happy with the general composition of the trees, I edited the picture to reduce it to 3 colors and did some tweaking to keep the shapes how I wanted. I picked one color as an intermediate step that I added dithering to so it would read as a third color.

The horseman is more of a traditional pixel art with references and stuff.
