this is a new educational 2hb series i am starting because i want to get better with css.
css is actually insane because you can pretty much do arbitrary graphics from scratch without images or javascript, but it's not exactly intuitive.
the resources to learn it are all over the web, but who the hell has the time to go sort through all of them and figure out wtf is going on!?!?
i will find random articles about cool css ideas or make up themes based on websites i see in the wild
the idea behind this being a 2hb is that you can have an hour to mess around with the concept and get used to css, and you'll still have ample time to create something. if this ends up being too long, i'll cut future battles down to an hour
html5 so we don't have to wrangle with "what is legal html4" and such, but banning all javascript because the point is we want to push css to the limit
i also need to start waking up early and luckily 5:00am in japan is a great time for America/Europe to battle lol
