there shouldn't be any issue with using the new 0.6.1 version, and generally the furnace format should always be aiming to use the newest stable release*.

i think it would be good practice to list the version used in the description for majors though, particularly if you used any of the new features (in this case, a new effect F7xx + 2 new chips, ESFM and "PowerNoise" fantasy chip lol). it's also just useful info for futureproofing the archive that our site is!

most of the rest of this update is bug fixing and workflow improvements. that said, it might be worth checking your module in the new version if you've already submitted/started! mine seems fine. if things start breaking (that aren't the result of a fixed bug), or worse don't open, then we might have a problem

* as long as we don't end up with a Dn-Fami situation where the new version is worse
