Sixth annual 25 samples / 48 hours remix battle with a Detroit playback party.


Bit Phase now - July 18th

Submitting samples (bits) has already been under way for over a week. We have more than 50 uploaded already. BotB is looking for original recordings and productions to be remixed. In a band or a solo project? Short recordings of local artists is what BotB craves. Voting on bits takes place the same time as submissions. Each bit needs 10 votes to be elligible for the bitpack containing the top rated 25 samples. Get your sample(s) up in the next few days to make sure they get enough votes! :o


Remix Phase July 19th - July 26th

We've never been able to agree which part of the week is ideal for the 48 hour remix period. So we're going to try something new! There will be a one week period to donload the bitpack and get started. Once a BotBr donloads the bitpack they have 48 hours to submit their remix. BotB will let you know how much time you have left. Late entries are acceptable, but 1 point of the submission's final score is lost for every minute past the time due. However, once the Remix Phase ends submissions will no longer be accepted. So if BotBr's think they'll be late they better donload early! :P


Vote Phase July 27th - July 30th

Any registered BotBr may vote. Vote on all entries to make your votes really count!


Playback Party July 31st

Mike Blank the Blank will be hosting the BotB Detroit VI playback at Crow Manor's 2nd annual Crow-Nival. It'll be a brilliant event. If you live in or near the Detroit area stop by for a good time with good people. Come! Hear the winners before they are revealed at battleofthebits.com
