a question: i have no idea what allgear is about - is https://battleofthebits.com/lyceum/View/allgear%20(format)/ saying that allgear is a kind of any sound or music format? anything? where from can we find indeed similar battles?

allgear allows you to use anything (gear, software whatever) with the final output being some kind of sound/music in (generally) mp3 format as long as it obeys the bitpack/battle rules. allgear is probably the most popular format so finding battles is easy, just look in the arena pages and you'll find plenty

 so this also means that allgear includes everything, whereas wildchip rapresents a sort of subset of the former, including sound ICs only, and multi-format is a subset of selected gears/chips/whatever picked up by the battle's owner, right?
