Quick question, is the song itself required to be in 13/8 or is just the melody a requirement?

you can do whatever you want as long as the melody is in it, so i think 13/8 is not required for the whole song

the melody simply implies 13/8
but its fine if you add a dotted quarter rest afterwards or whatever!

I have no idea if thats a joke or not. The melody is printed on the walkman. If you wish to hear it then maybe listen to the current entries and see if you can pick out the melody that they are all using.

wow im dum, just realized that it's a graphic on the walkman itself and not, like, a jingle that i could listen to on a commerical wow ( ﾟ^ﾟ)
