I'm happy to announce the 5th annual Detroit BotB international remix competition and party showcase. This year we will be hosted at Cliff Bell's 2030 Park Avenue on Friday, July 31st. Also on the bill is Jamie Register and the Glendales CD release party.

MC Blank and DJ B-Knox will start presenting the samples and remixes at 10pm. If you have a remix and are there in person please come and talk to us. We'll make sure to play your submission in case there is too much music to fit into our timeslot. The winner will be announced around 11pm.

I've been working hard trying to get BotB running smooth! ^__^; The sample submission engine is good to go and sample voting is right around the corner. We're ready! I can feel it!! \=D/ =o

Question about the rules - there are a lot of tracks that include samples from the submissions list that weren't in the 25 compo samples. I don't really care that much either way, just wanted to know if anyone cares...?

Are there? Give examples. Its not really allowed as far as i know, but its something we have to judge based on how
serious it is =P
