Welcome to BotB's
LittleGameParkTracker compo.
The rules here are simple --
Once the compo begins you have 7 days to submit an entry.
Download the sample pack when the compo begins.
You must use LGPT v0.52 - you can
download it here.
Feel free to modify the sample pack any way you want!
Do not write a track using LGPT's midi control function as your midi controlled device is not available to everyone for live playback.
When finished with your LGPT track upload your project folder in a .zip file as a submission.
You can then upload an .mp3 render or someone will do that for you.
Submission filesize limit is 2.5mb
There will be a 5 day voting period to follow -- winners will be announced very, very shortly thereafter.
Some infos on LGPT --
LittleGPTracker (a.k.a 'The piggy') is a music tracker dedicated to run on portable game consoles. It is currently running on Game Park's GP32, GP2x and there's a windows & mac version too.
It implements the user interface of littlesounddj, a very famous tracker for the Gameboy platform that has been tried and tested by many users over the years, leading to a little complex but yet extremely efficent way of working.
Piggy currently supports 8 monophonic 16Bit/44.1Khz stereo sample playback channels. Additionally, the program can drive MIDI instruments (with the gp32 and gp2x a custom MIDI interface is required).
