This is a thread for brainstorming battle ideas. All ideas welcome!
Here's one from me:
XHB Bartok
Bartok is a card game where the winner of each round makes a new rule to add on for the rest of the game. The game thus gradually accumulates more and more rules.
In the XHB Bartok series, the winner of each battle chooses a new rule to add to the bitpack for the next round, which they secretly DM to the host. The battle series thus gradually accumulates more and more rules.
It might need some tweaking, for example perhaps the winner could also change or remove an old rule to prevent the bitpack from getting overly restrictive.
Not sure how well this would work in practice, which is why I think it might be a better theorycraft than actual battle. But feel free to take the idea if you want!
(Apologies if a thread like this already exists, I couldn't find one!)
