I've had a funny obsession with cryptic crosswords lately. They're basically like a typical crossword puzzle, but each clue is its own miniature word puzzle. This one is also BotB themed, so each word is related to either the site or the community.
While making this, I discovered there's a surprising lot of depth to crossword puzzle design. It's too bad with the way I picked out the words before setting the grid that I had to use a freeform grid instead of some aesthetic grid layout. I still tried to make the layout kind of visually interesting and also somewhat fair where possible with regards to unchecked squares and connected areas.
