So last Sunday I asked Saskrotch why he hasn't been around BotB. His answer? His phone was blowing up (tweet=>sms yo) with unnecessary site event info. He doesn't care about BotBrs level up crap!

I propose a second twitter account that only announces when a battle is created. Should this account also include a message of who won when it's over?

Also, should the main tweeter be more verbose? It could include when new entries are submitted (but not for minibattles?), when bulletins are posted, and maybe something else.

I think the main account should only be for OHB and big battles starting. The secondary account could be the "town crier" for level ups, battles over///who won, lyceum updates ect...

Second twitter is a good idea. I like to get SMS notifications for OHBs, but I turned SMS off because I don't have enough texts/month to justify all the other notifications.

lyceum updates might be a bit much for the tweet - but i can add alerts to the IRC bot!!

yeah, i was thinking you could probably set up an account that auto RTs the main one, looking for stuff like 'begins in' or whatever.

i'd definitely support an ohb twitter account, no matter how it works
