So, with voting, the categories are kinda loose but usually i can see how you can listen to the tracks with them in mind.
Except for, i keep seeing votes where the last category is pants-related. I guess is a botb in-joke that is totally normal to everyone. Maybe pnts=pants/points or smth?
Anyway, amateur digital anthropology aside, is there like an established cultural code round here that dictates a way of thinking on 'pants' categories, or is that just like, a freebie category to just give your opinion or maybe just wave your e-peen around in?

All voting categories are up to personal interpretation, including the "in pants" categories. Whatever quality about an entry that you believe can be judged can be represented by any of the five categories. That's why you'll see some entries get top 3 in one category and then 80th place in one or two other categories, lol

Yeah, I consider pants to be an overall "Did I like the damn thing" category. After that, I usually end up assigning one to 'melodic nicety', one to 'technical coolness (does it do cool things with the chip)', one for 'musical coolness (does it do cool musical theory things)' and one for i guess arrangement quality?
