mysteriously, i did not receive badge progress on this battle https://battleofthebits.com/arena/XHB/5675/ despite being well above 20 points. i had 1/7 mptm progress from advent calendar 2020 before, and still do now

i checked a couple other peoples' profiles in the battle for whom this was their first mptm badge progress, and they did receive progress, so it's not specific to this battle i don't think!

not sure what the deal is, or if this has occurred before. it's fairly insignificant in the grand scheme of things but i thought i would point it out!

I dug through the code and I don't really get it. This data is cached in your botbr account db data. It gets cleared when battles are tallied and then again when they are ended. I might be able to throw in a cache reset when badge progress views are loaded? Might help in the future; otherwise it won't update until there is another entry in a tallied battle.

you're absolutely right, it's there now that i've done another battle! an odd bug but certainly not one that has much gravity if that's all it takes to fix, thanks for looking into it :)
