You got me curious too so I did some of my own poking around. gtap has more than me right now, signed up about half a year before me but still after 2012.

Also I vaguely recall earning Playa points from entering/placing in majors when resluts got published but I could be wrong...?

oh right, i think u also get a playa point for every 10 entries u voted on as soon as a battle is tallied, something like that
