I've created a fat XM module with aim to finding bugs in XM Replayers, narrated by some cute voicesynthesis and elevator music, this will guide you into the unknown universe of the XM fileformat! =)

And yes, it replays flawlessly in FT2, which was the aim.

Rev 15 update: Higher precision Instrument Vibrato test.

Rev 14 update: added exception check for trackers/players that
interprets jumpvalues as Hex instead of Decimal.

All other trackers, including MilkyTracker fails on atleast some points.

Would it also break XMPlay?

I think I need to do an extensive .s3m abuse test (although that one .s3m I made recently should expose at least some of the problems).

Anyways, I approve of the elevator music.

Light quick version that takes a second to test standard compatibilities
http://lmao.rotfl.at/upload/Strobe/devilslap_diagnosis.xm

You can get 2 results.
Pass is when you hear the happy highpitched arp.
Fail is if you hear Dee-doo or nothing at all.

A fun exception is XMPlay were it first fails, and then plays the
Pass sound as well. this also counts as a fail btw!

Edit: XMPlay probably do NOT fail, it is because it interprets the sounds as subsongs and plays them in that order.

Yes it seems that if the player plays both then it uses the parts as subsongs, not sure yet how to circumvent this behavior in the XM.
