It IS working, but you don't get a verification mail and cant log in, the page is just loading forever.
There might went something wrong when creating the user data.

alright i dug into the db and no new accounts have been confirmed since november 11 (which is when the php upgrade happened i would guess)

got the updated phpmailer to load on local but failing on prod
