Greetz to all noobs! I come to you now with some exciting(???) news.
For teh longest of times, the bandcamp releases have been free exclusively, but I will soon be changing that. Whyyyyyyyyy, you ask? The reasons are threefold:
1. When free donloads run out, bandcamp automatically changes all releases to $7 and I have to manually. Change. Back. Every. Single. Release. To. Un. Priced. Which, given our huge volume of releases now, is something I really don't want to be bothered with.
2. As B-Knox spirals towards financial ruin, I'm sure a little extra cash will make him happy, and he won't be forced to turn beard tricks on the street.
3. To create a "culture" of """"""value""""""" See, johnny layman views a bunch of free releases and doesn't give a shit. But! My humble botbrs, I would certainly put our chiptune releases up against anything else bandcamp has to offer. And purchased releases also show supporters their, making them look even more "popular."
Pricing will be simple:
$1 for EPs 3~5 tracks. (bad turnout majors)
$3 for LPs 8~13 tracks. (typical 1 format majors)
$5 for megamixes 25+ tracks. (winter chips ect...)
I'll be changing prices soon, but not just yet. You noobs lucked out as we just BARELY didn't run out of downloads for April, so we got a fresh batch of freedom IE use this opportunity to download anything you haven't gotten around to yet.
AND NEVER FEAR! ALL OUR RELEASES WILL CONTINUE TO BE FREE! I will set each new release as free until it gets bumped form the "most current" spot.
So don't wait around! Get them while they're hot. And if that's still not good enough for you, remember that you can always just download each track from the site and level them yourself. You know, do my fucking job.
