I just sort of had a thought since the OHB activity recently has been through the roof. I know a lot of people spend well over an hour for their major battle entries. What if the playlist featured these entries slightly over the ohb ones? 2:1 seems too steep, but maybe something like 8:5. Any thoughts?

Having multiple channels would be cool for sure -- I like puke's idea but I feel the best way to go would be to have some sort of curated "best of" list. Basically keramon's suggestion, though I think it'd work best if adminfolk or dedicated curators could be in charge of selecting things for such a list. The human brain's a better filter than whatever algorithm we come up with. :P

but favorites and votes are determined by the human brain, so they're a good enough surrogate imo. my 2¢, i think some combination of number of favs, score, and number of voters/entries could be a decent criteria
