this was an experiment mostly in using leitmotifs to tell a coherent tale, as well as an attempt to push the 2a03 to its limits in some regard

PROGRAM NOTES

0:00 dusk falls upon the northern wastes. under the faint glimmer of sunlight, frostkeep fortress stands strong.

0:38 as the sun sets, the light is replaced by the shine of a thousand torches. flying above the encroaching army is the dark banner of chaos.

0:54 the forces of chaos rush the keep. from what the watchmen can assess, they are likely to overtake it with little resistance.

1:13 as the enemy approaches, freiya, princess of frost, rallies what forces the keep can muster in preparation for the imminent attack.

1:39 the royal defense is insufficient, and things are looking dicey

2:02 frostkeep is overrun, the princess's fate unknown.

2:07 in mourning, the council discusses the future of the lands beyond frostkeep. hope is lost.

2:49 but wait! a small cloaked force infiltrates the chaos-held frostkeep in a valiant yet stealty attempt to usurp the tyrants and take control.

3:08 swiftly dispatching the soldiers responsible for keeping frostkeep's townspeople in line, our heroes are greeted with rumors that the princess might be alive, after all.

3:21 with perfect timing, one of the cloaked heroes reveals herself to be princess freiya herself!

3:30 unfortunately, the chaos army has taken note of the strike force. with freiya and her allies on one side and countless legions on the other, the true fight begins.

4:26 the strike force has been successful in holding the line thus far, but things are looking grim.

4:37 the council's reinforcements finally arrive!

4:47 faced with a far stronger opponent than their initial objective, the forces of chaos retreat for now.
