'[#[COLLECTING SOUNDS / VOTE SOUNDS]
First, you need to know than you can upload/vote a sound that you would like to be in the competition. You most vote 1 to 7 in the sample.


'[t[b2]ALL SOUND SUBMISSIONS MUST BE PUBLIC DOMAIN'[/t], in the form of an MP3 500kb in size or smaller. Only submissions with 10 votes or more are eligible.

'[#[COMPOSE / REMIXING TIME]
When the countdown of '[t[b1]*COLLECTING SOUNDS / VOTE SOUNDS*'[/t] end, will be time for composing by using the selected sounds (sound pack) for this compo. You most download the '[t[b1]*SOUND PACK*'[/t] to compose your own song.

IMPORTANT: YOU MAY NOT ADD ANY OUTSIDE SOUNDS, but extreme levels of manipulation are encouraged.

'[#[TRACK SUBMISSIONS]
When you have your OWN SONG (1), with the used sounds from the '[t[b1]*SOUND PACK*'[/t], you must submit your OWN SONG (1). You just can submit 1 song.

Track submissions must be an MP3 of 4.5mb in size or smaller. 
'[t[b1]IMPORTANT:'[/t] NO COVERS ALLOWED!!!

Any submissions with ID3v2 tags will be rejected.
Any content released by a Playa to BotB becomes copyleft and public domain. It is imperative that a Playa has the right to declare their releases to BotB as copyleft and/or public domain.

Then, when the TRACK SUBMISSION end will be time to vote. YOU must listen every single track of the others PLAYAS (users) and vote 1 to 7 in all the categories.

'[t[b2]What's DETROIT/ANN ARBOR?'[/t]
A CITY!.... j/k, DETROIT/ANN ARBOR is a remix composition competition, what this mean?, easy... You have 48 hours to make a song with the '[t[b1]*SOUND PACK*'[/t], this pack of sounds will be able to download when the countdown of the '[t[b1]sound submission'[/t] end. Then all the user who want participate in this special competition. After the competition and the results, Battle of the Bits will have a party in some place...


'[t[b2]What's a *SOUND PACK*:'[/t]
Is a pack of sounds and samples, this is provided to the users to make a song for this competition. This pack must be used for every user who want to be in the competition.


'[t[b2]Do I need to upload a sound/sample?'[/t]
No, you don't have to, if you don't want. But if you have a good sound than users can considerate useful in the pack, then why not upload it?


'[t[b2]Do I need to vote for every sound/sample?'[/t]
No, you don't need to, but the more votes the sample/sound gets, the higher the chances it gets to be chosen. Because only sound/sample submissions with 10 votes or more are eligible.


'[t[b2]Can I upload more than one (1) sound/sample?'[/t]
YEAH!!!... of course you can.


'[t[b2]How do I upload a sound/sample?'[/t]
Simple, you have to...

- First, you need the sound/sample in MP3 format, then...
- Put the *TITLE*
- Make a short *DESCRIPTION* (useful)
- Select the *SOUND TYPE* among ONESHOT / LOOP / SERIES
- Select *SOUND MAKE-UP* among ORGANIC / SYNTHETIC / HYBRID
- Select *SAMPLE GENRES* among 8bit / clicks+pops / kicks / sound fx / ambiance / cymbals / mechanicals / strings / animals / drumz / nature / vehicles / appliances / ethnic / pads / voices / bass / horns / percussion / woodwinds / circuit bends / keys / snares
(You may select up to three (3) genres)

You may upload an .mp3 file of any bitrate up to 500kb in size. Any submissions with ID3v2 tags will be rejected.

Yes and not, you must try to vote for all and be judge of every track. But you don't have to if you don't want.

YOU, must wait for the voting time over and then you can know the results.


'[t[b2]What do i win?'[/t]
That is, a booty shakin' to your track at a party in Detroit. A Playa will also receive their name visually at the top of a list. Honor?, waffles?...


'[t[b2]What mean thoses numbers under the Compo info?'[/t]
That mean the time you got until each step end. And it goes like... Days / Hours / Minutes / Seconds.


'[t[b2]Where is the Playback Party?'[/t]
Depend of many things... you can just wait until we have the place for the party! and be ready to shake your booty!.

Usually, yes... depend of the party/place.
