another semi electronic tune by "yours truly"
made in lsdj 9.4.0 (stable)

melodies are by far my weakest skill, so i tried to focus on them as much as i could when possible (i still struggle with them lol), aswell as trying a key change (tho at this point i cant tell if my intended root key is the actual root)

kinda like this one aswell lol
finally a tune that doesnt heavily rely on sidechain and is still good (for me, that is)

audio exported via sameboy emulator + audacity

enjoy!!!!

that’s a lotta one-tick arps, wow lol! good stuff tho!

only suggestion i’d make is have more 2-tick arps. if you make a dedicated arp instrument you can change the command tick rate and make it 2, so arps are multitick

Digging those busy basslines that kick in later in the song. Also, really enjoyed the middle section around 1:30. Feel like the heavy arp stuff, in terms of taste, isn't for me, so I enjoyed that reprieve. Think it could work even with the main groove to do something a bit deconstructed, too.

This immediately starts off exciting as fuck. Really cool ideas here and excellent sound design! I love your intro/buildups and then everything about it sounds absolutely massive when it kicks off. Great transitions throughout.
