it would help if you add information to your description about region and expansion memory.
this one is for NTSC without expansion ram and made with baby-k

uploaded a render taken via audacity...hope I did it right! I wasn't sure how long the loop was intended to be, but I grabbed 30 seconds.

[edit] note: found I was not able to play .prg files from baby-k unless running older versions of VICE (3.1 tested successfully, was not able to successfully run in current build 3.6).

@kilowatt64 i think that baby-k has a bug when generating vic20 prg files - the original baby-k json file i used was https://pastebin.com/raw/0LwSnNJN (see how different it sounds.... :S ) - that resulting prg when played on vice xvic actually sounds similar to your render (and not at all from baby-k, only that first pattern in common, that doesn't repeat in such loop)

The original does sound different -- are you able to resubmit a render? It looks like I cannot.

the submitted file is .prg, and the playback of this file is the render.
this is not baby-k format where u submit and render the .json

im gonna replace the render again later. (edit: done)
always make sure to check the playback of the export, not how it sounds inside the tracker

same goes for deflemask stuff. dont render the dmf, render the exported rom inside their emulator/playback tool

youre not allowed to fix wrong exports with an updated render, while the submitted file is still wrong
