A scattered collection of original sketches I made between 2015 and 2024. The comic of Arcturus in the center was drawn in 2023. I think the message of that comic perfectly encapsulates what I am expressing with this artwork.

I am murdering a perfect idea with poor execution. And I have accepted that into my heart. I'm at peace with it. And this allows me to create.

(And honestly, it was either do it poorly or do it not at all. And I chose to do it poorly.)

embodying "try your worst, do your best" to the fullest extent <3 <3 <3

the messy collage style here is quite effective towards conveying a sort of unsorted pile of memories. the drawings being featured themselves ranging in style and purpose, with even (what i'm guessing to be) a chart for a conlang among the pile, fits that interpretation as well
