Imagined much like an anime music video or a first episode intro: we see the first scene that pushes the character into the story arc driving the series (the gunshot), the intro scenes lead into an exciting (hopefully) swell, and the title rolls in as the theme concludes, including a quip from the pseudo-New Yorker who tells off the protagonist only to become his most trusted ally as the series moves forward.

This entry started as a wip, mostly the 'Scene' hook, that sat on my hard drive for awhile as an occasional "I should work on that tune" pit stop before doing something else. Using the 2x OPM for full stereo effect along with the Sega PCM, a furnace submission felt perfect to finish it.
Issue is, the original idea was written long enough ago that I no longer felt as directly pushed by how I wrote it and what influenced my writing at that time — hence, then, the dramatic shift to the 'Swell' component where I tried some more A M 4 N-like stereo-panned and detuned pads with a mix of FM and samples for the bass.
The sub-bass remains a bit mystifying via export, though I found that Nuked FM's render core handles it better than ymfm. Still, the module itself cranks it out even harder.
Frankly, I'd like some of the transitions to be a touch cleaner musically, but I'm out of creative steam with it and, well, the module will always be there for me to say, "Hey, I should work on that some more" lol. We'll see.
