an vintage vinyl record found in a house in stoke-on-trent, england. the record was most likely sold at local pound stores in the area, though the record's msrp is unknown. all that is known about it is the artist - charmptan "the jolly old bloopier" scroyme - the title, and the record type - a 78 rpm 7" single. a peculiar detail was that it was found covered in bird feathers when discovered by the vinyl recovery association (vra).
the vinyl dates back to 1986, and shows noticeable amounts of warping, especially between the 45 and 60 second marks. the following is a crude transcription recording of what was found on the record. what was not able to be captured was the beginning, in which the artist speaks to the audience in prelude to the music that you are about to listen to. below is a transcription of the dialogue.
"GREETINGS, FEEBLE FELLOWS! And, welcome to the 56p Christmas Boogie Woogie! Now, I know I've been around for quite a while - not in tune with the modernities as you - but I know a boogie when i see one! Yes, the long, flowing movements, the wild and frantic timing...bah, well, what are we waiting for?! Let's get on with it! "
it should be noted that, immediately after playing it, the vinyl violently shattered. no reason could be inferred with certainty at this time. it should also be noted that the voice on the record is identified to be that of stefan portis maximus, father of public barrister otto patrick maximus.
