So 80s. I like it!

This sounds great! I think it'd be cool if you added some pitch warping like an overused tape and maybe a bit more masking on the highs/add a bit of bass presence to get that ugly overly bassy tone of the lo-fi stuff of the late 70's/early 80's. The melody sounds great, the synth sounds pretty accurate for the period, and the lo-fi makes everything coalesce well. I really like the outro arpeggio melody

To whom it concerns,

VHS tapes don't sound muddy and stupid until after the tapes have worn out and the heads slip out of alignment. Unfortunately, it doesn't take long for that to happen.

Good composition. Bad effects.
