This was supposed to be a test run of the (free edition of) BBC symphony orchestra VST that went off the rails;;; I pulled out all my schmaltz for this one so pls enjoy....

various inspirations include bluenocturne's Train To My Heart, Nikolai Kapustin's piano concertos, and maybe also Hitoshi Sakimoto from the great few songies that I have listened of him (clearly I need to listen more)

a whole orchestra arrangement, wow..! so much went into this, it's amazing. a very cohesive piece, definitely feeling the Train to my Heart :o)

2:39-2:50 is the tastiest part for me... little metrical burst of energy. most of this is (perhaps by necessity even) at a slower tempo than you often write at, so this part strikes me as you letting that loose for a moment, haha
