i knew this day was coming, and i sorta dreaded it, because this flavor of making music soars straight over my head; i've yet to really take to it well, it is pretty far removed from how i typically think about the process. and for a while today i definitely was frustrated, at least up until the point that one of my frankenstein box monsters started making sound out of one of my note arrays, and then it actually became kinda fun to piece everything together. i had an idea in mind, and it at least kinda resembles that idea in the end, so i'll call today a little victory : )
new stuff is programmed to come in on the patch for about a minute and a half, so i rendered a little extra and faded it out

advent diary day 11:
i'm glad i spent a couple hours messing with pd a few months ago, it meant i didn't start completely green today (still pretty green tho). maybe if i ever did vcv again the same would be true from when i did the advent vcv day 2yr ago, who knows. that was a frustrating, tiring day! today wasn't so bad in comparison. it was no vcv 2021, or tic80 2022. wow was that seriously a year ago? damn.
