made in krita through combining ~100 different layers taken from probably around 20 different issues of the 'nintendo magazine system' magazine from the 90s (on internet archive), and then processing in darktable a little. backstory is just someone giving me some really annoying unsolicited feedback one time, so uh, thanks for the inspiration i guess
i couldn't really do anything physical but it felt like this was in the spirit enough :3 even if it turned out like a shitpost
hoping submitting this encourages more people to do the same

rip my hopes of doing decently i guess. thought it had a good chance of placing decently since i did put a bunch of effort into going through old magazines, even if digitally, and people seemed to like it, but i guess my disappointment is ultimately just my fault for having my expectations too high
