love the sounds! btw a tip for minifying stuff (not sure this'll get your code under 1k tho) is to use stuff like 3e4 instead of 30000, 75e4 instead of 750000 in the number variables (i forgot the proper name but you get the idea)

yeah I did actually realise that when I tried using some js minifiers for fun, but the code didn't work so I lazily did a minified version but didn't bother converting all the numbers since to get under 1k I'd need to remove over 600 characters which wasn't really possible without a major rewrite so I left it at that. though I'll certainly use that trick in future!
