nexus industries nxt:wave includes the following features:
- up to 16 tracks per pattern
- 1-4 note polyphony per track (this will use up adjacent tracks)
- up to 255 patterns per project
- each pattern has a maximum of 128 steps
- built in delay and reverb effects
- sampling capability with line inputs
- easily transfer samples via USB

each track also has these controllable parameters:
- pitch
- attack decay envelope
- high or low pass filter
- sample trim start/end
- sample rate and bit rate
- sample slicing with randomisation
- volume/panning
- stereo expansion
- chance and condition options
- two LFOs which can control any other parameter
