Lately I've been trying to be more methodical with my patches. Metal turned out to be a great target exercise. I went for an 80's metal feel with the ability of chugging a palm muted root note and then having the other pitches being the power chords. That was an interesting challenge with the routing. I struggled getting the saws to sound anything like a guitar (maybe could have used an actual distortion pedal). Also, lots of mastering.
