i like how the snare sound is kind of understated in a way, it's not loud but it still adds a good amount

You know, I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else use this technique for break-like noise drums. It's such a simple technique and sounds pretty slick with surprisingly little effort.
It's literally just constant fade-out and making "drums" with different volume column levels. :P
