the vocals are a failed attempt at a metal growl simulator. I tried doing an lpc of me whispering (via bitspeek) and passing binomial noise as the impulse signal. If I try this again I want to experiment with something more principled and maybe prototype it with lua instead of a weird chain of effects in reaper.
