We've done shoegaze and post-punk— industrial seems like a logical progression :-D
Anything from the first-wave, avant-garde and electronic body music (EBM) into the more modern electro-industrial, aggrotek rivet-head stuffs and onward.. it's quite a large umbrella.
Thematically, industrial music is typically a critical reflection on the bleakness and impersonal nature of (post) industrialization and modernity, expressed in a variety of ways— ranging from harshly abstract, cheeky and darkly humorous to the most commonly recognizable- pounding, fierce and pissed off.
